Woman standing in front of a brick building with greenery

The founder story

Speira began with one woman and a conviction: that the most interesting jewellery in the world was being made in small studios across Greece, and that it deserved a wider audience.

Christina Kalliakmani spent years searching for the designers who work with their hands, who understand their materials, and who treat every piece as something worth making well. The seven designers behind Speira's collections are the result of that search.

This is the story of how their work found its way here, and why that matters.

  • THE CURATION PHILOSOPHY

Speira doesn't sell from a catalogue. Every piece in the collection was chosen for a reason: its craft, its provenance, its maker. For the woman who already knows what she wants and simply hasn't found it yet.

These are not pieces made to trend. They are the pieces made to last
  • THE MOOD CONCEPT

Jewellery has always been a form of self-expression. Speira organises its collection by mood. Because the woman who reaches for something bold on a Tuesday morning is a different version of herself to the one who wants something quiet and delicate on a Sunday.

Six moods. One is yours. Find it
  • THE DESIGNERS

Behind every piece is a person with a story. A dentist who became a silversmith. A film professional who came to jewellery later in life. A family of goldsmiths working from the same studio for three generations.
